Hi, I'm Jessica.

Psychotherapist, LCSW

Thanks for visiting my site.  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker who earned my master's degree in clinical social work and school social work from The University of Chicago. I work with young adults and adults supporting the individual using a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.  My process involves creating trust, having curiosity, listening, hearing and seeing you, providing psycho-education, and holding space for you to stabilize and find peace within. I'm looking forward to working with you along your journey towards faster processing of traumatic memories with EMDR therapy. I will assist you in reducing symptoms towards greater self-awareness/esteem and healthier relationships, while using your coping skills to improve your quality of life.

The good news is "struggling does not mean you are failing" and at the end of the day, the most rewarding journeys are the ones where you discover the answers yourself.

"If you want to make real and lasting improvements in your life, you need to be open, and have the willingness to change".

Are you ready to do those two things? If so, real healing is not only possible – it’s around the corner.

What I value in my work

compassion

Compassion

Caring, concern and open-mindedness can help build stronger, meaningful relationships and help to navigate the complexities of life. My focus is on understanding you and a genuine desire to help.

curiosity

Curiosity

I love the discovery of what makes you unique and special, what makes you tick! I approach every session with a sense of curiosity and wonder, an eagerness to learn more about you and your life story.

growth

Growth

We are constantly learning and evolving with accepting that perfection is not the end goal. The best part of our learning and growth is gently accepting our mistakes and using what we have learned for the next time.

authenticity

Authenticity

It’s my intention to be present, responsive and real. In our sessions, you’ll get the “heartfelt genuine me”. I encourage you to be vulnerable and share your true self with me. After all, authenticity and transparency are the keys to meaningful change!
